Mrs. Mary Louise Mullins, age 84, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday morning, November 25, 2018 at the local hospital. Louise was born March 25, 1934 in Whitfield County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Fred Bearl and Dovie Estelle Peek Carroll. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of fifty-seven years, Rudolph Mullins, infant daughter, Lisa Michelle Mullins and several brothers and sister.

Louise was a seamstress by trade and worked many years at Needle Craft. She was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church.

Louise loved to quilt, sew and cook, but the true love of  her life was her family, whom she cared for deeply.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Harold and Jane Mullins of Cleveland, TN; daughters and sons-in-law, Judy and Larry Johnson, Gail and Willie Whiteside of Dalton, GA, Cheryle and Todd Schoeneman of Ellijay, GA, Doris and Tommy Davis of Ringgold, GA; thirteen grandchildren and twenty-three great-grandchildren.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mary Louise Mullins will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Lamar Beason and Dr. Danny Cochran officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband and infant daughter at Ponders Whitfield Memorial Gardens with her grandsons serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and after 10:00 a.m. Wednesday until the service hour.
