Mrs. Mary Lou Long, age 75, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Monday, February 21, 2022 at the Advent Health Gordon Hospital. She was born August 10, 1946 in Mineral Bluff, TN. She was preceded in death by her son, Neil Wright, brother, Mark Lowery, sister, Dollie Stepp, Joann Makigney, Dorothy Collins.

She is survived by her husband, William Long of Chatsworth, GA; son, Deron Wright; daughter, Angela Garland of Chatsworth, GA; sister, Edna Watkins of Blueridge, GA; several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mary Lou Long will be held Friday February 25, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Brother Dewayne Payne officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday. Interment will follow in the Immanuel United Fellowship Cemetery.
