Mrs. Mary "SUE" Jordan, age 77, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday evening, April 22, 2024, at her residence.

Sue was born February 21, 1947, in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late, William and Nellie Dotson Morrison. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, William James "Buck" Duke, infant daughter, Lisa Ann Duke and her husband of forty-four years, at the time of his death, Charles Edward Jordan and daughter, Tina Burnet.

Sue was a 1965 graduate of North Whitfield High School and was retired from Shaw Industries.

She is survived by her children, Tanya Duke and Skip Thomas Simmons, Brian and Pam Duke, Charlene and Gabe Cordova, Wendy and Greg Cross; grandchildren, Robin and Bobby Ogle, Emma Duke, Blake Duke, Javen Nicholson, Kristin Davis, Karen Gray, Katie Kersey, Kacey Starn, Levi and Sydney Coker, Elexus and Tyler Savage, Silas Coker, Isaac Coker, Taylor Cross, Amber Sydnes, Alana Simmons and T.J. Simmons; nineteen great-grandchildren; sister and brother in law, June and Harold Jones; brothers and sister in law, Ralph Morrison, Donald and Jan Morrison,  several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Sunday.
