Ms. Mary Elizabeth Huffines, age 73 of Crandall, GA, departed this life Saturday morning, October 22, 2022, at Advent Health Redmond in Rome, Georgia.  Mary was born March 14, 1949 in Chatsworth, Georgia, a daughter of the late Charles Claude Sanford and Jeffie Fain Wilson Huffines.  She was also preceded in death by grandchildren, Tysah Lynn Gilbert, Raymond Dale Gilbert and George Andrew Davenport.

Mary attended Tennga Baptist Church and Amazing Grace Baptist Church. Mary was a precious person and loved her family dearly and was known as "Granny" to many folks.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Wanda and Lamar Norris of Chatsworth, GA, Rosie and Randy Greenway of McCaysville, GA, and Wilma and Jerry Davenport of Crandall, GA; grandchildren, Derek Miller, Letitia Delp, Kimberly Robertson, Samuel Norris, Nathan Norris, Raquel Croy, Zach Davenport and Jacob Davenport; great-grandchildren, Conner Miller, Christopher Miller, Tucker Cline, Benjamin Tomlin, Daniel Beavers, Dustin Beavers, Caleb Delp, Alexis Delp, Zachary Delp, Kayleigh Norris, Abigail Norris, Dakota Robertson, Emma Robertson, Harmony Hammons, Sarah Norris, Jeremiah Norris,  Evelyn Norris, Noah Norris, Abigail and Kyleigh; brothers, David Huffines and Cullie Huffines; sisters, Charlotte Huffines and Sheena Huffines all of Chatsworth, GA; several nieces, nephews and many cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Mary Elizabeth Huffines will be held Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend Tony Robertson officiating. She will be laid to rest at Ponders Murray Memorial Gardens with Jerry Davenport, Chris Croy, Randy Greenway, Jacob Davenport, Samuel Norris, Zach Davenport and Nathan Norris honored to serve as pallbearers.  The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday after 11:00 a.m. Wednesday until the service hour.
