Mrs. Mary L. Hall, age 85, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, July 18, 2015 at her home. Mrs. Hall was born July 18, 1930 in Gordon County, GA, and was the daughter to the late Edward Hill and Bessie Carter Hill. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John William Hall Jr, son, Wayne Hall, brother, Larry Lewis, and great-granddaughter, Contessia Wynn. Mrs. Hall was of the baptist faith and was a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her sons Dennis Hall of Calhoun, GA, and Harvey Hall of Crandall, GA; daughter, Patricia Winkle of Dalton, GA; sisters, Barbara Ann Hill, and Rita Wiley of Trion, GA; grandchildren, Ben Rankin, Cheryl Bivens, Josh Hall, Wayne Hall Jr., Janice May Hall, Tosha Hall, Larry K. Hall; several great- grandchildren.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mary Lee Hall will be held Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Reverend Danny Thomason officiating. She will be laid to rest at Franklin Cemetery in Scottsville, GA, with Harvey Hall, Cody Bivens, Dustin Henderson, Ben Rankin, and Timmy Kinsey serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from
5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 21, 2015 and after 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday until the service hour.
