Ms. Mary Elizabeth Freeman Rogers, age 72, of Rome, GA, departed this life, Sunday August 7, 2016. Mary was born March 19, 1944 in Cartersville, GA, the daughter of the late, James Howard Freeman and Elizabeth S. Hyde Freeman. She was also preceded in death by her sister-in-law, Mary Freeman.

She is survived by her brother, Charles Freeman; niece, Lisa Ward and her husband, Terry Ward.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Calhoun Chapel, Tuesday August 9, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.

A private family burial will take place Wednesday August 10, 2016 at Oothcalooga Baptist Church Cemetery.
