Mrs. Mary Ruth Davis, age 81, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Wednesday June 1, 2022 at the Ridgewood Health Care. She was born June 25, 1940, a daughter of the late James and Bessie Callaway. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Adams, son Thomas Edward Davis, grandson, Austin Luna, brothers, Jerald Callaway, Robert Callaway, sisters, Doris Richardson, Shirley Callaway.

She is survived by her; sons and daughters-in-law, Jimmy and Annie Davis of Dalton, GA, Terry and Darlene Kendrick of Calhoun, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Becky and James Ellis of Cohutta, GA, Lindsey Dean of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Calvin Whitmore, Ethan Davis, Tiffany Davis, William Devin Roberts, Brooke and Joshua Gallman, Mary Kathryn Kendrick, Kamryn Kendrick, Jesse Ellis, Brandon Ellis; great grandson, Thomas Whitmore; special friend, Jeremy Benzinger.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mary Ruth Davis will be held Monday June 6, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Denny Smith officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Monday.
