Mrs. Mary Lou Cronan, age 73 of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Monday July 23, 2018 at the Gordon Hospital. She was born September 10, 1944 in Ellijay, GA, a daughter of the late Frank and Lucile Ponders Pierce. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Bobby and Jerry Pierce, sister, Louella Brasfield.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Ricky and Jeanette Morton of Chatsworth, GA, Eddie and Lisa Brewer, Scott Brewer of Dalton, GA, Dale Brewer of Chatsworth, GA; brothers, Wallace and Lorie Pierce, Waldo and Donna Pierce of Ellijay, GA, Roger and Sherry Pierce of Lafayette, GA; sisters, Lula Bell and Gene Hughes of Ellijay, GA, Minnie Lou Key of Chatsworth, GA; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mary Lou Cronan will be held Thursday July 26, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Berean Baptist Church Cemetery in Ellijay, GA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
