Ms. Mary Margie Cox, 74, of Tunnel Hill, departed this life at her home on Tuesday evening, April 21, 2020 at her residence. She was born October 21, 1945 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Barney Glenn and Mary Terrell Long.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Anthony Cox of Dalton, GA, Chris and Nancy Cox of Tunnel Hill, GA, Michael and Amanda Cox of Leesburg, AL; grandson, Cameron Cox, sister and brother-in-law, Connie and Clifton Patterson of Rocky Face, GA; several nieces, nephew, cousins and other extended family.

At her request she will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date. She request that her grandson plant a tree in her memory and place her remains beside the tree.
