Mrs. Mary Frances Cotton age 92 of Palatka, FL and formerly of Dalton, GA, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday August 21, 2018 in Palatka, FL. She was born February 3, 1926 in DeKalb County, GA, a daughter of the late Henry Mitchell and Georgia Frances Brown Brand. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, William Brand, John Brand, sister, Jane Yarborough. She was a member of the Dalton Church of God/ Cross Point Church for many years where she was active in the Women's Ministries. She also worked many hours as a volunteer at the Harbor House in Dalton, GA.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Anthony and Susan Cotton of Weleka, FL; grandson Chad Cotton of Marietta, GA; great grandson, Bentley; nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mary Frances Cotton will be held Friday August 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel. Interment will follow in the Fairy Valley Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
