Mrs. Mary Carol Carter, age 72, of Fairmount, Georgia, departed this life Friday December 3, 2021 her residence. She was born October 14, 1949 in Austell, GA, a daughter of the late Matthew and Beaulah Gilstrap Moore. She was also preceded in death by her husband William Randall Carter, brother, Cecil Moore.

She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Tracey Lynn Logan of Memphis, TN, Tonya and Kenneth Rumph of Calhoun, GA; stepson, Randall Carter, Justin Carter of Calhoun, GA; brother, Don Moore of Douglasville, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and James Nash of Powder Springs, GA; five grandchildren, four great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Mary Carol Carter will be held Tuesday December 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Fairmount Chapel. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Tuesdayday. Interment will follow in the Johnson Cemetery.
