Mrs. Mary Etta Caldwell, age 67, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday February 9, 2022 at the local hospital. Mary was born January 21, 1955 in Tellico Plains, Tennessee, the daughter of the late Charles and Estella Bayless Harris. Mary worked for the Murray County School system before retiring.

Mary is survived by her sons, Jeremy Lee Caldwell of Chatsworth, Georgia, Jesse Edward Caldwell Jr. of Chatsworth, Georgia, Jonathan Allen Caldwell of Dalton, Georgia; daughter, Dana and Patrick Sieders of Nashville, Tennessee; brother Lester Harris of Tellico Plains, Tennessee; grandchildren, Cadence Caldwell, Kaelin Caldwell, Mackenzie Caldwell, Anastacia Sieders and Jason Sieders.

Service to celebrate the life of Mary Etta Caldwell will be held, Tuesday February 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Clint Strickland officiating. She will be laid to rest at Serenity Hill Memorial Park Cemetery.

The family will receive friends, Tuesday February 15, 2022 from 12:00 p.m. until the service hour of 2:00 p.m.
