Mrs. Martha Ann Bunch Sneed, age 79, of Tunnel Hill, Georgia, departed this life Sunday morning, January 3, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Martha was born July 1, 1941 in Whitfield County, Georgia, a daughter of the late John Theodore and Ella Louise Smith Bunch, Sr.. She was also preceded in death by her husband of fifty-seven years, James Robert Sneed who died April 20, 2018, brothers, Calvin, James, Harold, Jerry, Charles (Ed) and John Bunch Jr., and her sisters, Agnes Bunch, Margaret Bunch and Julia Burgess.
Martha was retired from Shaw Industries Plant #81 and was a member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church in Catoosa County, Georgia.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Regina and Craig Shaver, Rhonda Lee Hall; son and daughter-in-law, Tracy and Cheryl Sneed all of Tunnel Hill, GA; grandchildren, Heather and Chris Humble, Craig and Jessi Shaver, Haley Walraven, Brett and Kristin Sneed, Logan Sneed and Brylee Hall; great-grandchildren, Chase Humble, Camryn Humble, Gracie Shaver, Renly Pass, Jasper Walraven, and Jaxson Shaver; one great-granddaughter on the way; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Jeanie Bunch; sister, Donna Payne, Charlotte Gravitt, Stella Hawkins all of Rocky Face, GA; several nieces, nephews.
Martha requested a private graveside service to celebrate her life to be held Wednesday, January 6, 2021 at Dunagan Cemetery with her son, Tracy Sneed and grandson, Craig Shaver officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her husband with Spencer Smith, Logan Sneed, Brett Sneed, Chase Humble, Chris Humble and Craig Shaver honored to serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the charity of your choice. The family would like to thank Hamilton Hospice, Donna Payne and Charlotte Gravitt for their love and care.
