Mrs. Martha Lopez Vasquez Pacheco, age 73, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Monday evening,  July 27, 2020 at the local hospital.  Mrs. Pacheco was born February 23, 1947 in Labor Del Rio, San Luis, Potosi, Mexico, a daughter of the late, Efren Lopez and Paula Vasquez. She was also preceded in death by her husband of forty-four years, Robert Pacheco who died, July 8, 2020, a son, Oscar Pacheco and a grandson, Alejandro Pacheco.

She was a member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Dalton, Georgia, and a Carmelite of The Virgen del Carmen and was retired from Mohawk Industries.

Mrs. Pacheco is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Roberto and Maria Torres Pacheco of Dalton, Elio Pacheco and Reyna Yanez of Mexico, Leo Pacheco and Yanira Orrellana of Dalton, Hector Pacheco and Nuvia Ponse of El Paso, Texas, Saul and Kathy Pacheco of Dalton, Eliazar and Margarita Pacheco of Dalton, Venancio and Blanca  Pacheco, Gustavo and Lourdes Pacheco all of Dalton; daughters and sons-in-law, Martha and Eusebio Gonzalez of Chatsworth, Olga and Joel Torres of Dalton, Alejandrina Pacheco of Dalton, and Oralia Pacheco and Jose Beltran also of Dalton; brother, Rosalio Lopez of San Luis, Mexico; sisters, Sesilia Lopez and Damasia Lopez both of San Diego, CA, and Maria Cristina Lopez of Odessa, TX;  brothers-in-law, Santos Pacheco of Mexico, Albaro Pacheco of Albuquerque, New Mexico, and Lucio Pacheco of Mexico; sisters-in-law, Petra Martinez of Dallas, Texas, Maria Cruz Gonzalez, and Caridad Pacheco both of Mexico; forty-five grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday morning, August 3, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Saint Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Paul Williams officiating.  Interment will follow at Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park.  Her sons will serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Saturday August 1, 2020 and Sunday, August 2, 2020 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Ponders Melrose Chapel.  Rosary will be recited on Sunday at 7:00 PM in Ponders Melrose Chapel..
