Mrs. Martha A. Hollis age 68, of Dalton, GA, departed this life Sunday May 10, 2015 at the Pruitt Health Care in Ft. Oglethorpe. She was born March 26, 1947 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Rufus and Mattie Edwards Harris. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Hollis, daughters, Anna Kay Pace, Karen Renee Flood.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie Gann of Dalton, GA, Tracy and Glenn Womack of Cedartown, GA, Tammy and Dwayne Reid, Ray Flood of Dalton, GA; sisters and brother-in-law, Jan and Jack McGill of Dalton, GA, Joy Caldwell of Doraville, GA; grandchildren, Ren Gann, Matthew Womack, Justin Flood, C.J. Reid; great grandson, Logan Flood.
Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Martha A. Hollis will be held Wednesday May 13, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with George Cross officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday.
