Mrs. Martha Sue Garcia, age 48, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Sunday, August 17, 2014 at Kindred Hospital in Rome, Ga. Martha was born May 7, 1966 in Dalton, Georgia, daughter of the late Jerry and Bonnie Dale Keeler. Martha was preceded in death by her granddaughters, Karolina and Paoblina Valenzuela. Martha was a member of Varnell Full Gospel Church. Martha loved being a homemaker to her husband, children and family.

She is survived by her husband of thirty one years, Jose Garcia; daughter, Angela Garcia; son, Jose Antonio and wife Dolores Garcia, all of Dalton; granddaughter, Martha Alicia Valenzuela;

brothers, Robert and wife Stephanie Keeler, Cleveland, Ohio, Billy and wife Mary H. Keeler of Dalton, Ga., sisters, Brenda and husband Ron Yerty of Chatsworth, GA; Linda and husband Ernest Brown of Dalton, GA, Betty and husband Donald Foster of Chatsworth, GA., Shirley and husband Thomas Bath of Brooklet GA.; Several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Martha Sue Garcia will be held Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 2:00 P.M. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Florencio Torres, Mr. Billy Keeler, and Mr. Jose Antonio Garcia officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Popular Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with Wendall Fry, Steven Tuck, Alfonso Rodriguez, Billy Joe Keeler II, Donald Foster, Jose Antonio Garcia, Andrew Fry, and Nick Sergent serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 p.m. Tuesday and all day Wednesday and 9:00 A. M. Thursday until the 2:00 P.M. service hour
