Mr. William Mark Quarles, age 56 of Crandall, Georgia, departed this life, Wednesday July 14, 2021 at Erlanger Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee. Mark was born September 21, 1964 in Dalton, Georgia.
Mark loved camping, bonfires, and spending time with family and friends. He never met a stranger. He was a truck driver for D & W Paper Tube Company.
He was preceded in death by his father, Bill Quarles, grandparents, John and Catherine Shoemaker, William and Bunia Quarles, aunts and uncle, Johnnie Connon, Francis Ensley and Virginia and Ronnie Dyer, and his father-in-law, John Miller.
He is survived by his wife, Jenny Miller Quarles of the residence; mother and step-father, Mary and Kelly Painter; children, Ashley and Erick East, Amber and Josh Rymer, Jacob and Destiny Miller, William and Courtney Quarles, and Noah Killian; grandchildren, Madison Faith, Zowie Jada, Ema Noahel, Carson Raliegh, Blakely Sky, Zaiden Alexander, Grace Haven, Braleigh Jayde, Grayson Parker, Rylee Elizabeth, Addley Rose; brothers and sister-in-law, Danny Quarles, Brian and Regina Quarles; several nieces and nephews all of Chatsworth, Ga.
Services to celebrate the life of Mr. William Mark Quarles will be held Monday, July 19, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Gladden Coe and Reverend Shane Chastain officiating. He will be laid to rest at Center Hill Baptist Church Cemetery in Murray County, Georgia, with Danny Quarles, Brian Quarles, William Quarles, Jacob Miller, Noah Killian, Josh Rymer, Erick East, Bobby Mathis, Decaleb Womack, Jeff Womack, Carl Holliday and Brian Dunnaway honored to serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Sunday and after 11:00 a.m. Monday until the service hour.
In lieu of flowers the family request donations be made to help with funeral expenses.
