Mr. Mark Anthony Chastain, Sr. 53 of Chatsworth, GA departed this life Saturday August 31, 2019 at his residence. Mark was born July 19, 1966 to his parents, George Richard and Daisy Nell Allmon Chastain, Sr. Mark would give you the shirt off of his back and do without to provide for his family, he enjoyed giving nicknames to his friends and family. Mr. Chastain is preceded in death by his parents, George and Daisy Chastain, Sr. and sister, Jane Pratt.

Survivors include his loving wife Sandra "Sandy" Lands Chastain of the home, son, Mark "Markie" Anthony Chastain, Jr. of Chatsworth, daughter and son-in-law, Angel Ann Rodriguez (Nelson) of Chatsworth, brother Keith Brian of Chatsworth, grandchildren, Anthony Mitchell Chastain "Monkey Boy", Cameron Santiago Rodriguez "Buckwheat", and Noah Florencio Rodriguez "Peepeye" all of Chatsworth and a "Brother from another mother" Jerel Carter of Dalton.

Services to celebrate the life of Mr. Mark Anthony Chastain, Sr. will be Wednesday September 4, 2019 at 3:00 P.M. in the Ponders Melrose chapel with Wayne Gribble officiating. The family will meet with friends from 12 Noon until the funeral hour at Ponders Funeral Home.
