Mrs. Marilyn Blackstock Brown, age 74 of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Thursday December 3, 2020 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was born September 10, 1946 in Dalton, GA a daughter of the late Wilburn and Grace McFalls Blackstock. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Wilburn Blackstock Jr. She was the owner of Industrial Bearing in Dalton, GA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and a great friend.

She is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Gordon Brown of the residence; son and daughter-in-law, Barry (BB) and Dedra Brown; daughter and son-in-law, Bonita Emerson and Pawel Escobar of Dalton, GA; sisters, Elaine Kelley of Chatsworth, GA, Rachel Godfrey of Acworth, GA; grandchildren, Chris Emerson, Randy Emerson, Maggie Emerson, Katie Brown; great grandchildren, Jace, Jadeyn, Jeorgia, Kaden, Max, McKinley, Mia.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Marilyn Blackstock Brown will be held Tuesday December 8, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. from the Brown Pavilion at 1476 Miller Rd SE Dalton, GA 30721 with Reverend Kelly Grant and Reverend Brandon Chastain officiating. Interment will follow in the Gordon Brown Family Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m.  until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
