Mrs. Maria "Teresa" Sosa age 88, of Dalton, GA, departed this life Monday October 12, 2020 at the local hospital. She was born June 8, 1932 in Zacatecas, Mexico a daughter of the late Juan Contreras and Refugio Contreras Sosa. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Rodolfo Zavaleta Sosa, grandchildren, Mario Arturo Sosa, Yvonne Margarita Sosa, five brothers, four sisters.

She is survived by her son, Manuel Sosa; daughters, Margarita Sosa de Sanchez, Maricela Sosa; grandchildren, Alberto Sosa, Glorianna Sosa, Manny Sosa II , Anna Maria Sosa, Hector Gillermo Sosa, Alejondra Diaz; great grandchildren, Daniel, Arturo, Brianna, Zelia, Itzel, Romell, Kristian, André, Jewels.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday October 15, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Salomon Garcia officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery. The family will have a private visitation on Wednesday from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. The family request that friends that want to visit to attend the graveside service on Thursday at West Hill Cemetery after the Mass.

In lieu for flowers the family request donations be made to help with expenses.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
