Maria Luisa Luna Medina age 52, of Dalton, GA departed this life Friday June 26, 2020.  Maria was born in El Devanador de Tzitzio, Michoacan on July 8, 1967, the daughter of the late Salvador Luna. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Celestino Luna. Maria was an entrepreneur owning a small boutique store and was also a great baker and cook. She was a very active member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.

Maria is survived by her husband Mario Sanchez, daughters, Maria Luisa Serrato Luna and Victor H. Diaz, Maria Del Carmen Serrato Luna and Benito Rodriguez, Lilian Denisse Sanchez Luna and fiancé Gabriel Villafuerte, Hailey Victoria Sanchez Luna; mother, Herlinda Media; brothers, Jose Alfonso Luna, Pedro Luna, Samuel Luna, Concepcion Luna; sisters, Maria Guadalupe Luna, Maria Isabel Luna, Emanuel Luna; grandchildren, Alex Rodriguez, Allison Rodriguez, Aislinn Rodriguez; serval nieces and nephews and many friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held, Tuesday June 30, 2020 at 12:00 p.m. from St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Paul Williams officiating.

The family will receive friends Monday June 29, 2020 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. from Ponders Melrose Chapel.
