Mrs. Maria de Jesus Salaises Hurtado, 45 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday August 1, 2020 at the local hospital.

She was born in Juan Aldama, Zacatecas, Mexico on June 16, 1975.  She was preceded in death by her mother, Hermila Aldaba Salaises. Mrs. Hurtado was a member of Saint Joseph's Catholic Church in Dalton.

She is survived by her husband, Humberto Perez-Hurtado of Dalton; her father, Roberto Salaises of Dalton; sons and their spouses, Anthony Hurtado and Andrew Anderson, Jorge and Vanessa Hurtado, Alejandro Hurtado all of Cleburne, Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Adriana Salaises and Humberto Hernandez, Elena Salaises and Jose Suarez all of Dalton; brothers and sisters-in-law, Ricardo Salaises and Maria, Alejandro Salaises and Beatrize, Roberto Salaises and Daniela all of Dalton, Jose Salaises of Cleburne, Texas; grandchild, Elias H. Hurtado; and special friend, Alicia Ramirez.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday August 7, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. from the Saint Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Paul Williams officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday.
