Mrs. Margrita Ann Vanover, age 72, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Thursday, September 30, 2021 at the local hospital. She was born August 6, 1949 in Detroit, Michigan, a daughter of the late Jim and Jean Croley  Bunch. She was also preceded in death by her husband Samuel Vanover, sisters, Louise Ellison, Betty Coleman.

She is survived by her son, Darrell Wayne Vanover; daughters and sons-in-law, Sheila Ann and Tim Shelton of Dalton, GA, Sherry Michelle and Jason Shelton of Chatsworth, GA, Janet and Roscoe White of Dalton, GA; brothers, Eddie Bunch, Robert Bunch, Ronnie Bunch; sisters and brother-in-law, Judy and Jim Gendron, Sharon Lamming, DoRene Yaiger all of Michigan, Vicky Bunch of Florida; 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Margrita Ann Vanover will be held Tuesday October 5, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Tim Shelton and Jason Shelton officiating. Interment will follow in the West Hill Cemetery with Josh Shelton, Matthew White, Sam White, John Tallent, Roscoe White and Tim Shelton serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Monday.
