Mrs. Margie Lee Kendrick, age 79, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life, Thursday December 10, 2015 at Ridgewood Manor Health and Rehabilitation. Margie was born January 16, 1936 in Whitfield County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Harvey Ellis and Alma Irene Oliver Reagan. She was also preceded in death by her husband Jimmy Buck Kendrick, sons, Phillip Eugene Kendrick, Dean Kendrick, brothers, Bill Reagan, Winford Reagan, sister, Mary Ann Barbree.
She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Terry Brewster of Chatsworth, GA, Brenda and Dwight Killian, Joan and Jimmie Ray Blevins of Cohutta, GA; sons and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Stephanie Kendrick, Johnny and Teresa Kendrick, Brenda Lott Kendrick all of Cleveland, TN; brothers and sisters-in-law, Tennis and Judy Reagan of Cleveland, TN, Wayne and Betty Reagan of Cohutta, GA, Cecil and Pat Reagan, of Cleveland, TN; sisters and brothers-in-law, Judy and Edward Smith, Verla and Steve Akins , Shirley Knight, Freddie Barbree all of Cleveland, TN; grandchildren, Joey and Brea Hodge, Jimmy Killian, Johnny and Keshia Blair, Jimmie and Emilie Blevins, Matthew Blevins, Jonathan Blevins, Mitchell Blevins, Kimberly and James Bridges, J.J. Kendrick, Kristy and Nate D'Amato, T.J. and Kersha Kendrick, Megan and Ben Pickering, Tammy Brewster, Jaci Painter; fourteen great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Margie Lee Kendrick will be held Sunday December 13, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. at the Following In The Footsteps Baptist Church with Pastor Nick Bivens and Reverend John Tudor officiating. She will lie in state at the church from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with her grandsons serving as pallbearers. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the church outreach at 4481 Keith Valley Rd Cohutta, GA 30710. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Saturday December 12, 2015.
