Mrs. Margaret Annette Lawless, 79, of Dalton, GA., departed this life, October 12, 2016 at her residence. She was born on November 14, 1936 in Dalton, GA a daughter to the late Rosco and Frances Teasley Ledford. She was also preceded by sisters: Doris Beal, Barbara Quarles, and brothers; Charlie Beal, Roy Beal and a grandson David Wrape.

Margaret is survived by daughters and son in law; Mary and Jack Wood of Dalton, GA, Paula Phillips of Eton, GA, a son Larry Phillips of Dalton, GA, grandchildren and spouses; William "Bo" and Brittany Wood, Shannon and Jon Guffey, Brandy Wood, Terry Sissom, and Tony Wrape. She is also survived by Brothers and sisters in law; John and Sherlyn Ledford of Augusta, GA and Robert and Helen Beal of Chattanooga, TN. She had 10 great grandchildren.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Margaret Lawless will be held 10:00 AM Saturday October 15, 2016 at the Melrose Chapel of Ponders Funeral Home with Brother Edwards officiating. She will be laid to rest at Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery with family and friends serving as pall bearers. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the funeral home.
