Mrs. Margaret Lee Barger Ellis, age 81, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday July 15, 2020 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident along with her son.

Mrs. Ellis was born in Sunbright, Tennessee, on October 3, 1938.  She was a daughter of the late Arthur and Margaret Agnes Storey Barger.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death by her husband, Eugene Clifton Ellis.

She is survived by her son, Aaron Ellis of Dalton; brother and sister-in-law, James Arthur and Juanita Barger of Oneida, Tennessee; sister and brother-in-law, Marion and Richard Papes of Cincinnati, Ohio; grandchildren, Kayla Ellis, Anniston Ellis, Jordan Ellis Manley and Jacob, Derek Ellis, Jade and Keith Rowland; great-grandchildren, Kenzleigh Chambers, Paxtyn Rowland, and Hudson Rowland.

A memorial service for Mrs. Ellis and her son Steve will be held at a later date.
