Mrs. Margaret Virginia "Mawmaw" Cline Bailey, age 89 of Dalton, Georgia, went to be with the Lord, Thursday, April 17, 2014 at Ridgewood Manor Health Care. She was born on November 14, 1924 in Murray County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Richard Frank and Mary Grace Dyer Brackett. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Cullen M. Cline and Oscar Bailey; son, David Cline; brothers, Eugene Brackett, Marion "Kit" Brackett, Oscar "Buck" Brackett; sister, Mary Defoore, granddaughter, Ashley Makala Defoore, special friend, Millie Simmons.

She is survived by her son, Grady Lamar Cline of Dalton, GA; daughter, Frances Anita Cline of TN; grandchildren, Anthony Lamar Cline of Tunnel Hill, GA, Jessica Lynne and Joshua Lewis of Woodstock, GA; great grandson, Jackson Lewis; several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Margaret Virginia Bailey will be held Saturday, April 19, 2014 at 3:00 pm at the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ray Hobbs officiating. She will be laid to rest at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Gordon County. The family will receive friends on Friday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the funeral home. The family would like to give a special thanks to the staff of Ridgewood Manor for all the care they provided to Mrs. Bailey.
