Mrs. Malvia Arlene Parrish, age 67, of Calhoun, GA., departed this life, Sunday April 26, 2015 at Gordon Hospital, with her family at her side. She was born January 19, 1948, daughter of the late Thomas Earl Duvall and Mary Ruth Strickland Duvall. She was also preceded by her brother, Lamar Duvall and sister Martha Akins.

She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Jim Parrish of Calhoun; son, Carey Parrish of Dalton; daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Brian Hemminger of Cleveland, TN.; granddaughters, Bayleigh Michael, Megan, Madison and Makenzie Hemminger; brother and sister-in-law, Howard and Peggy Duvall of Sugar Valley, GA, and sister Bonnie Bailey of Resaca, GA., several nieces and nephews.

A memorial Service will be held at Ponders Calhoun Chapel on Wednesday, April 29, 2015 from 12:00 til 4:00. The family wants to spend time visiting with friends and family and share memories of Mrs. Malvia Arlene Parrish.
