Mr. Mack Henry Nottingham, age 84, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday morning, March 29, 2023 at Hospice of Chattanooga, in Chattanooga, Tennessee, surrounded by his loving family.  He was born May 14, 1938 in Madison Heights, Michigan, a son of the late Payton and Mary Ann Diamond Nottingham. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Barbara Janette Nottingham, brother, Joseph MacFarland, sister, Mary Landreau. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.

He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Ronald and Angela Nottingham of Dalton, GA; brothers and sister-in-law, Jack and Margaret Nottingham, David Nottingham, Francis Nottingham; sisters and brothers-in-law, Martha Novak, Barbara Nottingham, Sharon and Robert Chilcutt, Patty and Lon Simpson all of Michigan; grandchildren, Zackerie and Katie Nottingham, Haley Nottingham, Zoe Nottingham; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Mack Henry Nottingham will be held Monday April 3, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Keith Williams officiating. Interment will follow in the Varnell Cemetery with Jason Yocum, Anthony Holsomback, Jeff Roberson, Kenneth Strawser, Bradly Brown and Dave Nottingham serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Monday. Military Honors will be provided by the Dalton American Legion Post #112.
