Mrs. Veronica Jimenez Ruiz, age 70, of Dalton, GA, departed this life November 24, 2020 at the local hospital. Veronica was born June 15, 1950 in Acamboro, Guanajuato, Mexico, the daughter of the late Pablo Jimenez Monroy and Guadalupe Ruiz Ortega.

Veronica is survived by her daughter Adriana Rico; son, Ricardo Rico; grandchildren, Jocelyn Ramirez, Kevin Rico, Axel Rico, Max Rico, Bryan Rico, Leslie Ramirez, Jackie Ramirez; brothers, Salvador, Jose, Juan Tranquilino; sisters, Elivera, Marcelea, Jovita, Gaby, Guadalupe, Rosana and Lorena.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday December 1, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will follow the service at United Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends Monday November 30, 2020 at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.
