Mr. Loyd E. Pack age 71, of Chatsworth, GA departed this life, Sunday January 13, 2019. He was born June 25, 1947 in Dalton, GA, a son of the late Bevie Allen and Mamie Bridges Pack. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Clinton and William Pack.

He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the Eleventh Avenue Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Janice Kendrick Pack of the residence; sons and daughters-in-law, Loyd Pack Jr. and Lauri Pack of Rome, GA, Jason and Dawn Pack of Coolidge, TX; daughters, Karen Pack, Jodie Pack both of Varnell, GA; stepchildren, Michael and Kelly Page of Chatsworth, GA, Michelle and Paul McHan of Calhoun, GA; sisters and brothers-in-law, Juline and Bob McKay of Rocky Face, GA, Shirley McIntyre of Calhoun, GA, Barbara and Tommy Scott of Dalton, GA, Vickie Lovette of Cleveland, TN; ten grandchildren, Owen Gamble, Rosalind Pack, Rebekah Pack, Sara Pack, Samuel Pack, Chloe Pack, Isabel Pack, Meredith Page, Hayden Page and Andrew McHan; nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mr. Loyd E. Pack will be held Wednesday January 16, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ronald Guffey and Reverend Robert Beavers officiating. Interment will follow in the Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
