Mrs. Louise Foster Ogles, age 91, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday morning, April 25, 2026, at Wildwood Health Care Center in Talking Rock, Georgia.

Born in Ellijay, Georgia, Louise was the daughter of the late Reverend Silvey W. Foster and Winnie Lee McClure Foster. She was also preceded in death by her devoted husband of fifty-six years, Dennis J. Ogles, Jr., and her sisters, Yvonne Summey and Doris Ann Edgeman.

Mrs. Ogles was a woman of gentle spirit and unwavering faith—a true example of a Christian lady. She was known for her exceptional kindness and gracious nature, always greeting others with a warm heart and a beautiful, welcoming smile. Her meek and humble personality left a lasting impression on all who knew her. Above all, she dearly loved her husband and family, cherishing every moment spent with them.

She was a member of Olivia Baptist Church and worked for many years at Art Rich Chenille Company, where she was respected for her dedication and work ethic.

She is survived by her loving daughter, Pam Pippin; her cherished granddaughter, Bevin Summey; her brother, Willard (Charlene) Foster of Dalton, Georgia; and several nieces and nephews who will continue to honor her memory.

A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Louise Foster Ogles will be held Sunday, May 31, 2026, at 4:00 p.m. at the pavilion of Salem Baptist Church, with Dr. Bruce Beach officiating. She was laid to rest beside her beloved husband at Harmony Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.
