Mrs. Sara Louise "Lucy" Satterfield, age 93, of Dalton, GA, departed this life, Sunday December 6, 2020 at Dalton Place.

Lucy was born September 30, 1927 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Willie Luther and Mary Agnes Bearden Lingerfelt.  She was also preceded in death by her husband, Paul Bradford Satterfield, her sisters, Betty Lewis, Mildred Hall, Katherine Manning and Jeanette Mincey and her brothers, Charles Lingerfelt and Glenn Lingerfelt.

Lucy was a 1944 graduate of Westside High School and was retired from J & J Industries where she worked for over twenty-eight years.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Satterfield of Dalton, GA; brother, Edgar "Eddie" Lingerfelt of Atlanta, GA; sister-in-law, Dot Satterfield; special nephew, Kirk Satterfield both of Dalton, GA;  several other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Sara Louise "Lucy" Satterfield will be held Thursday, December 17, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery (4004 Airport Rd., Dalton, GA, 30721) with Reverend Leslie Daniels officiating.

Lucy will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at the Brock Section of Pine Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Flowers will be accepted or donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 922 E. Morris St, Dalton, GA, 30721.
