Mrs. Louise Cole Henson, age 91 of Calhoun, GA, departed this life October 26, 2013 at Calhoun Health Center. Louise was born July 23, 1922 in Georgetown, GA, daughter of the late Fred and Georgie Johnson Cole. She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Willie Henson Sr., brothers, Fred Jr., Lucius, Earl and Frank ; and sisters, Lillian Martin, Margaret Roland and Mary Ann Page.

Louise and Carl were long-time residents of Omaha, Ga. where they were members of Omaha Baptist Church. Upon retirement Mr. and Mrs. Henson moved to Calhoun Georgia.

Louise is survived by daughter and son in law; Juanita and Stan Tomblin of Florence, AL, daughter; Miriam Hendrix of St. Petersburg, FL. a son and daughter in law; Carl and Jayne Henson of Calhoun, GA., grandchildren David Tomblin, Jonathan and Heather Hendrix, Carl (Sonny)and Penny Henson III, Miriam and Mark Vandersea and Marcus and Jeni Henson and five great grandchildren; Madysn and Morgan Henson, Lucas Henson, and Neils and Georgiana Vandersea. She is also survived by sisters; Nora Ming, Jean Roland, Joyce Ellis, Alice Rachel, Mildred Orr, Sarah Faulk and a sister in law Gladys Bennett Henson; and several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Louise Cole Henson will be held Tuesday October 29, 2013 at 3:00 P.M. CDT at Chapman Funeral Home in Eufaula, Alabama with the Reverend William Hall officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgetown City Cemetery with David Tomblin, Carl Henson III, Marcus Henson, John Luther Henson Jr., Dr. Robert Vassey and Mark Vandersea serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Tuesday October 29, 2013 at Chapman Funeral Home from 1:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M. the service hour.
