Mrs. Lou Ann Reed Lawson age 99, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Sunday morning, November 27, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born June 27, 1923 in , a daughter of the late Isaac Abe and Mae Belle Reed. She was also preceded in death by her husband Walter Edward Lawson, son-in-law, Ricky Beavers, brothers, Ottie, Charles and Mack Reed, sisters, Mildred and Vile Reed.

She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Leonard Lawson(Marcel), Ricky Lawson(Sandy); daughter Wanda Beavers; grandchildren, Randall Lawson, Dewayne Lawson, Josh Waldroup, Tabitha Collins; great grandchildren,  Savannah Lawson, Jordan Lawson, Eli Waldroup, Hadley Waldroup, Megan Collins, Savannah Collins; great grandchild, Elaina Lawson.

Graveside service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lou Ann Reed Lawson will be held Thursday December 1, 2022 at 11:30 a.m. at the Liberty Gospel Tabernacle Cemetery with Reverend Jeff Johnson officiating.
