Mrs. Lorine L. Givens age 77 of Dalton departed this life Tuesday March 26, 2019 at the local hospital. She was born December 18, 1941 in Elk Valley, TN a daughter of the late Lee and Etta Jeffers Lewallen. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Eugene Givens, son, David Givens, brother, Junior Jeffers.

She is survived by son, Brian Givens of Dalton, GA; daughter-in-law, Tammy Givens of Resaca, GA; grandchildren, Cody and Ashley Givens, Joseph Givens; sisters, Opal Shubert of Texas, Faye Day of Tennessee, Novella Norris of Georgia, Helen Smith, Bonnie Ivey, Vickie Carroll of Tennessee; several nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lorine L. Givens will be held Saturday March 30, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Donnie Caylor officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
