Ms. Lorie Ann Emberson age 53 of Chatsworth, GA departed this life Monday October 26, 2020 at her residence. She was born June 29, 1967 in Ellijay, GA a daughter of the late James and Kathaleen Sisson Emberson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Buell Emberson.

She is survived by her son, Larry Lamar Hughes; daughter, Sharlie Emberson; companion, Philp "Buzz" Walker all of Chatsworth, GA; brother, Arthur Lee Nicholson Sr.; sisters, Diane Sanford Emberson of Ellijay, GA, Barbara Emberson Wooten of Jasper, GA, Kala Nicholson Messer of Ellijay, GA; nephews and nieces, Justin Sanford, Arthur Nicholson Jr., Kurt Nicholson, Brandon Sanford, William Sanford, RT Messer, Breanna Sanford, Kendall Messer, Cathrin Messer; great niece, Dixie Rose Hanna.

Service to celebrate the life of Ms. Lorie Ann Emberson will be held Wednesday November 4, 2020 at 1:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Pat Shelton and Pastor Junior Maney officiating. Interment will follow in the Ponders Colonial Hills Memorial Park Cemetery with Arthur Nicholson Sr., Arthur Nicholson Jr., Justin Sanford, Dean Payne, Wayne Watkins and Brandon Sanford serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
