Obituary

Pets are earthly angels, gifts from God to inspire us and bring us joy and pure love. We were so BLESSED

that we had Lola for 14 + Years. We wanted to spend the rest of our life with our little princess; but instead, we

were deeply honored knowing she spent the rest of her life with us.

A little boy offered a comforting explanation for why dogs have shorter lives than humans: dogs already know

how to live a good life, so they don't need to stay as long as humans do. The boy's perspective highlights

the idea that dogs live in the moment, love unconditionally and teach us to do the same, suggesting they have

already mastered the key lessons of life.

Lola captured our hearts with her prissy self, sweet disposition, best companion, little bodyguard, big brown eyes, always giving lots of kisses and loving everyone. She never met a stranger. Her enthusiasm for life was contagious. Lola was more than a pet, she was a teacher of simple pleasures and unwavering loyalty. Her presence made our house a home, filling it with warmth, love and laughter. Lola was one of a kind!

Though our princess Lola crossed the Rainbow Bridge, the pawprints she left on our hearts will REMAIN FOREVER.

We will miss her greetings at the door, her playful barks, sleeping covered up completely with head on pillow and snoring (she really thought she was a human), loving to eat, running fast as lightning with those little short legs, (you ought to have seen her going up and down the stairs), loving to chase after toys, carrying her like a baby (she loved it …. Lola was our baby girl), her sweet kisses and most of all her comforting presence. Preston had bought Lola as a puppy for Carson when she was going to college at Georgia Tech. Lola even went to classes with Carson in her pocketbook. She went to doggy daycare in Atlanta and loved playing in the swimming pool. She was a graduate of Doggie School where she learned all kind of tricks. Lola was a very feisty little puppy. When Carson went off to Medical School, my parents and I were lucky we got to take over taking care of Lola.

Thank you, Lola, for the love and joy you brought into our lives. You were the best little girl, and YOU WILL NEVER

BE FORGOTTEN. You will forever be a part of our family and live on in our hearts. Heaven's gain is our loss.

WE LOVE YOU!

RIP OUR LITTLE DACHSHUND PRINCESS LOLA.
