Mrs. Lois Ann Gates McGhee, 68, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life on June 23, 2020 at her home.

She was born on August 21, 1951 in Flint, Michigan.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Irving Roy and Joann Barger Gates.  In addition to her parents she was also preceded in death a husband, Stanley Oliver; grandson, Conner Gray McElrath; and a brother, Allen Roy Gates.

She is survived by her husband, Steve McGhee; daughter and son-in-law, Debra Lucille Oliver and Chris Patterson of Chatsworth; sister, Laura Lee Perry of Missouri; grandchildren, Jennifer Williams Vogler and James Vogler, Shane and Bethany Patterson, Rhonda Ausmus; one great-granddaughter, Raelynn Olivia Patterson; niece and nephew, John Thomas Richards and Jodie Marie Millsap.

To honor her wishes she will be cremated and no formal services will be held.
