Little Sophia Rose Hicks, infant daughter of Joe and Ashley Hicks was born and departed this life Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at the local hospital. Little Sophia is also survived by a sister, Mary Campbell "Cammie" Smith; grandparents, Gary and Susan Moore of Dalton, GA, Joe and Shannon Godsey of Dunlap, TN; great-grandparents, Barbara Smith of Dalton, GA, Leonard and Wanda Sutherland of Dunlap, TN; several aunts, uncles, cousins.

Services will be held Friday, January 10, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with her great-grandfather, Reverend Leonard Sutherland officiating. She will be laid to rest in The Baby Land Garden at Murray Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel one hour prior to the service.
