Little Dilaine Marie Smith, 23 month old daughter of Tyler and Kelsie Smith of Ringgold, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday afternoon, June 24, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving mom, dad and family.  Dilaine was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee on July 20, 2018.

She is survived by her loving parents, Tyler and Kelsie Harrell Smith of Ringgold; her little brother, Andrew James Smith; grandparents who lived with Little Dilaine and her parents since she was born, Crystal and Macky McNabb of Ringgold; grandparents, James and Suzanne Harrell of Rocky Face, Rick and Robin Smith of Tunnel Hill; great-grandparents, Marilyn and Denny Harrell of Resaca; great-great-grandmother, Linda Painter of Rossville; aunts and uncles, Madison Harrell, Kathy Whiteveen, Josh and Amanda Parnell, Kenneth and Cayla Moss, Jeff Smith, Milaine Hayes, Nicole and Adam Pickett, Scott and Eunice McNabb, Azure and Leslie Marshall, Chris and Jeanna McNabb, Tonya and Stanley Dean,  and Jennifer Smith; great-aunt and great-uncle, Michelle and Mark Chislom; Dilaine's nurses who were just like family, Emily Dayton and Jamie Roper; many more family members, cousins, and friends also survive.

Services to celebrate the life of Little Dilaine Smith will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM in Ponders Melrose Chapel.  Reverend Calvin Nunley will officiate.  Dilaine will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens and Reverend Wayne Gribble will be in charge of the committal service.  James Harrell, Madison Harrell, Rick Smith, and Josh Parnell will all be honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends on Friday, June 26, 2020 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Ponders Melrose Chapel.
