Little Morgan Leigh Ann Shelton, age four months, infant daughter of Matthew and Courtney Shelton of Rome, Georgia, departed this life Thursday morning, January 23, 2014 at the Floyd Medical Center. Morgan was born September 4, 2013 in Dalton, GA.

She is also survived by her brother, Landon Scott Shelton of Rome, GA; grandparents, Rebecca Cope of Kingsland, GA, Donnie and Teresa Shelton of Dalton, GA, Danny and April Faulkenberry of Ringgold, GA, Laura Vaughn of Plainville, GA; Don Cope of Dalton, GA; great grandparents, Cindy and Bob Mchan of Plainville, GA, Rod and Betty Longley of Cleveland, TN; aunts and uncles, Hayden Faulenberry of Ringgold, GA, Cole and Leigh Shelton of Dalton, GA, Blake and Lacee Kendall of Ringgold, GA, Cody and Jessica Price of Chatsworth, GA, Paul Vaughn of Myrtle Beach, SC; Godmother, Susie Wilson of Eagle Lake, FL; cousins, Ozlan Kendall of Ringgold, GA, Noah and Zeke Price of Chatsworth, GA.

Services for little Morgan Leigh Ann Shelton will be held Tuesday January 28, 2014 at 12:00 P.M. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Ronald Guffey officiating. Interment will follow in the Whitfield Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. on Monday.
