Mrs. Lisa Annette Spurlock, age 52, of Chatsworth, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at the local hospital. Lisa was born December 21, 1963 in Birmingham, Alabama. Lisa was preceded in death by her step-mother, Ruth Lowe and grandparents, William and Flossie Powell, Claudie and Alta Lowe.
Lisa was a beautiful, wonderful person who loved her family.
She is survived by her husband of twenty-eight years, Roger Spurlock of the residence; sons, Christopher Younes, Jr., of Chatsworth, GA, Timothy Younes of Fort Oglethorpe, GA; daughter, Crystal Crofford of Dalton, GA; grandchildren, Kurstin Younes, Christopher Younes, III, Maisey Younes, Kobey Younes, Katlyn Younes, Timothy Younes and Addicus Younes; father, Leon Lowe of Warrior, AL; mother and step-father, Mamie and David Larkin of Dunlap, TN; brothers, Raymond and Sherry Lowe of Chatsworth, GA, and Darrel Lowe of Warrior, AL; sisters, Sandra and Rocky McGowen of Dunlap, TN, Debbie and Jerry Taft of Warrior, AL; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Alexander and Anna Spurlock of Chatsworth, GA; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Lisa Annette Spurlock will be held Saturday, January 2, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Terry Branson and Reverend Gregg Wright officiating. She will be laid to rest at the Mill Creek Cemetery in Rocky Face, Georgia, with Joey Branson, Adam Emberson, Brandon Maynard, Eddie Spurlock, Tommy Spurlock, Charles Branson and Raymond Lowe, Jr. serving as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Friday and after 11:00 a.m. Saturday until the service hour.
