Ms. Lisa Michelle Johnston, age 53 of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, July 6, 2024 at Hamilton Medical Center. She was born August 20, 1970 in Dalton, Georgia.

She is survived by her parents, Edward Jones of Villanow, GA, Marie and Clarence Garrett of Chickamauga, GA; sons, Patrick Gates of Dalton, GA, Michael Johnston of Chickamauga, GA; daughter, Crystal Garcia of Calhoun, GA; sister, Sonja Jones of Ellijay, GA; grandchildren, Carlos Choc, Elena Choc, Aiden Rosales, Lilliana Rosales, Brantley Gates.

Memorial service will be held Saturday July 13, 2024 at 7:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Joel Gill officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.
