Mrs. Linda Jane Pendergrass, age 72, Sevierville, TN, and formally of Dalton, GA departed this life, Sunday August 29, 2021 LeConte Medical Center. She was born May 4, 1949 in Wilkes County, NC, a daughter of the late Joe Todd and Ella Ruth Johnson Griffin. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Pendergrass, brothers, Joe Todd Griffin Jr., James Alvin Griffin, Tony Michael Griffin, sisters, Bonnie Sue Townsend, Patricia Jean Griffin, Dorothy June Griffin.

She is survived by her children, Diane and Ray Aubuschon of Severville, TN; Mike Watson of Texas, Ronnie and bonnie Watson of North Carolina; Roy and Frances Pendergrass of Chatsworth, GA, Geneva and Raymond English of Cohutta, GA; grandchildren, Zach Davis, Chandler Davis, Michael Watson, Jenna Watson; one great grandson; several step grandchildren, step great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Linda Jane Pendergrass will be held Saturday September 4, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. from the Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Raymond English officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. She will be laid to rest beside her husband at the Eton Cemetery.
