Ms. Linda Arlene Morgan, age 70, of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, and formerly of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at her home. Linda was born October 7, 1945 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late John Henry and Tishie Pauline Sisson Morgan. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Kenneth Eugene Morgan.

She is survived by her children, Tina Hall, Don Lancaster, Latonda Lancaster all of Jacksonville Beach, FL, and Tara Arrowood of Dalton, GA; brother, Randall Morgan of Dalton, GA; ten grandchildren, twelve grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Ms. Linda Arlene Morgan will be held Thursday morning, August 11, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Jack Cornette officiating. She will be laid to rest at United Memorial Gardens with Brian Newby, Brad Walker, Daniel Morgan, Danny Babb and Brandon Lancaster serving as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel after 9:00 a.m. Thursday until the service hour.
