Ms. Linda Massey McCutchen., age 77, of Dalton, Georgia, departed this life Saturday, June 29, 2024, at her residence. She was born October 22, 1946 in Dalton, Georgia, a daughter of the late Fred and Lousie Buckner. She was also preceded in death by her brother Max Buckner.

She is survived by her children, Lynn Patrick of Quitman, GA, Angela and Joe Sheehan of Rocky Face, GA, Jerri "Cissy" Massey and Chase Zaputil of Bonita Springs, FL, Kelly and Dan Metka of Woodstock, GA; brother and sisters-in-law, John and Karen Buckner of Dalton, GA, Debora Buckner of Chatsworth, GA; seven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Her family was her greatest accomplishment and she was so proud of each of them. Linda had retired and was enjoying a slower lifestyle. She loved spending time with her family, crocheting, shopping, going out to lunch, eating sweets and spending time at home with her pets. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Dalton Humane Society. A private memorial will be held at a later date.
