Mrs. Linda M. Brubaker, age 55, of Ringgold, Georgia, departed this life Wednesday morning, November 12, 2014 at Hospice of Chattanooga. Linda was born September 11, 1959 in Calhoun, Georgia, a daughter of the late Kenneth and Betty Jean Couch Pass. She was also preceded in death by her grandparents, Ed and Lillie Mae Couch, Flora Pass and Roy Pass and a sister-in-law, Debra Brubaker.

Linda was a 1977 graduate of Calhoun High and attended Dalton College where she received her degree in Nursing. Linda worked at Hamilton Medical Center for over thirty-five years. Linda's life was caring for other people, but the true love of her life was caring for her family. Linda enjoyed reading, crocheting and photography, especially taking pictures of her family. Linda grew up in Resaca, Georgia, and always attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church and at the time of her passing was a member of First Baptist Church of Dalton.

She is survived by her husband of twenty-four years, Barry L. Brubaker; daughter, Jennifer L. Brubaker; son, Joshua L. Brubaker all of Ringgold, GA; sister and brother-in-law, Kathy and Harry Darby; nephew, Matthew Darby all of Calhoun, GA; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Dennis and Faye Brubaker of Richland, PA; step-mother, Maurene Pass of Calhoun, GA; step-sisters, Laura Payne of Cartersville, GA, and Pam Bell of St. Augustine, FL; brother-in-law, Dale and Karen Brubaker of Fayetteville, GA, sister-in-law, Beth and Bruce Perry of Leicester, NY; several other relatives.

Service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Linda M. Brubaker will be held Sunday, November 16, 2014 at 5:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Dalton with Reverend Susan Deal, Reverend Courtney Allen and Reverend Phillip Cannon officiating. The family will receive friends in the atrium of the church after 2:00 p.m. Sunday until the service hour. A private graveside service will be held Monday, November 17, 2014 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Resaca, Georgia. The family request that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the First Foundation, P.O. Box 827, Dalton, Georgia, 30722.
