Mrs. Linda Alexander Boatwright, age 81, of Dublin, Georgia, departed this life on Friday, September 5, 2025.

She was born on May 8, 1944, in Arlington, Virginia, the daughter of the late Clarence and Mary Alexander. She was also preceded in death by her beloved husband, James Bernard (Bernie) Boatwright.

Linda was a vivacious and spirited woman who never met a stranger. She was a devoted member of the First Methodist Church of Dublin, Georgia, where she loved to sing in the choir. Linda was also a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star for 25 years. She had a deep love for animals, especially her faithful companion, her dog Skipper, who was always by her side.

She is survived by her son, Tylan (Tammy) Driskill of Charleston, Illinois, and her daughter, Joyce Bearss of Calhoun, Georgia. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren: Britton (Sarah) Bearss, Brian (Chelsey) Bearss, Eric Bearss, Skylar Driskill, Derek Driskill; great-grandson, Bodhi Bearss.

Linda will be remembered for her joyful spirit, her love of music and fellowship, and her unwavering devotion to her family and friends.

A memorial service will be held September 27, 2025 1:00pm from the First Methodist Church in Dublin, Georgia. Visitation will be from 12:00pm until service hour.
