Mrs. Linda Sue Kell Bailey, age 71, of Cohutta, Georgia, departed this life Saturday evening, January 9, 2021 at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga, Tennessee.   Linda was born March 15, 1949 in Dalton, GA, a daughter of the late Dewell and Cleo Gravley Kell.  Linda was also preceded in death by her husband, William Anderson "Bill" Bailey, grandson, Alec Johnson, brothers, David Kell and Bobby Kell and her mother-in-law, Kathrine Morgan.

Linda was retired from McKee Foods.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy and Jeff Silvers, Kim and Dennis Johnson and Cyndi and Timothy Parker; grandchildren, Trevor Silvers, Camryn Parker, Logan Parton, Hunter Parton and Bailey Parker; brother and sister-in-law, Jesse and Kay Kell all of Cohutta, GA; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Mike and Freida Morgan, Jerry and Kathy Elder;  several nieces and nephews.

Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Linda Sue Kell Bailey will be held Thursday, January 14, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Pastor Timothy J. Parker officiating.  She will be laid to rest with her beloved husband at West Hill Cemetery with Trevor Silvers, Mike Morgan, Austin Morgan, Jerry Elder, Andrew Elder and Aaron Elder will be honored to serve as pallbearers.

The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and after 11:00 a.m. on Thursday until the service hour.

Due to the National health crisis and the Covid-19 virus, masks must be worn properly at all times and social distancing must be observed when visiting the funeral home.
